He is a Business Administration major at La Verne University, Certified DOL “Youth Development Practitioner, and employed by the US Department of Labor as a contractor specializing in workforce development grant reviews for youth and adult programs.

He is CAADAC/CAADE Certified in “Anger Management” as a licensed facilitator for adolescent & adults. He’s conducted extensive case studies in national gang prevention & intervention programming.

He brings all this wisdom to Thornton & Fathy LLP in aiding non-profit organizations in foundation management services. Clients are professional athletes and other non-profit organizations with a desire to impact social needs in their community and/or hometown with empowerment focused opportunities.

He has 12+ years experience in workforce development arena and a former Sr. Pastor of Transformation Community Church in Chula Vista, CA. His contracting work has afforded him the opportunity to aid in pioneering social and workforce development reform programs for special needs populations (foster youth, offenders, at-risk, etc).

Professionally, he’s worked for many cutting edge Human Service agencies HHS, (SDSU) San Diego State University Foundation, Dept. of Labor “Youth Opportunity” and “Youth Offenders” Grantees, Metro United Methodist Urban Ministry, (USF) University of San Francisco, and currently working with a federally funded Native America organization called the “BRIDGE” administering workforce development direction to youth offenders 16-21 years old in southern California.

He has adopted from one of his favorite authors, Rick Warren a prospective of which “All leaders are learners, and the moment you stop learning, you will stop leading”. In this he has learned to build a balanced, purpose driven career that continues to allow him to rejoice in and explore human development. He works to release the inherent intellectual capacity of all children as a national motivational speaker on “Efficacy”, and to affirm their right to learn. Dr. Jeff Howard, Founder of The Efficacy Institute put it best in saying, “The central objectives of our work are: to build belief that virtually all children can "get smart;" and to build the capacity of adults to set the terms to help them do so.

His passion is to build a nation dedicated to producing successive generations of citizens prepared to constructively participate in the society of their time.
